AI & Experiments

AI is the new electricity for marketing. I use it to make teams faster, smarter, and more consistent—not to replace people.

DeepAvatar: giving customer avatars an actual vibe

Most customer avatars live in a dusty slide deck somewhere. DeepAvatar started as a way to make them feel alive.

It combines qualitative research, offer mapping, and AI models to:

  • Turn messy notes into story-level profiles

Transform scattered research into coherent customer understanding

  • Generate messaging angles aligned with profiles

Create copy that speaks to real motivations and pain points

  • Stress-test campaigns against segments

Test different emotional tones before writing version fifteen

I use DeepAvatar as a thinking tool during strategy and creative development, so teams can quickly explore what might resonate before they write the fifteenth version of a landing page.

Persona + AI = Living Avatar

DeepAvatar layers language, tone, and behavioral signals so campaigns feel like they're speaking to a real person.

RankGood™: AI visibility & Reddit engagement

Most dashboards show you rankings on Google. RankGood™ shows you where your brand appears in AI search engines and the Reddit conversations your audience is already having.

The platform helps you:

  • Track AI visibility

See your presence in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and other AI search engines

  • Monitor Reddit discussions

Find and track conversations about your industry, competitors, and products across relevant subreddits

  • Identify engagement gaps

Discover where your audience is talking but you're not showing up, revealing untapped opportunities

RankGood™ is built for businesses that want visibility beyond traditional SEO dashboards—into AI search results and Reddit conversations where their audience actually engages.

Other AI experiments

AI-powered lifecycle mapping

Using LLMs plus CRM data exports to map lifecycle blind spots and suggest experiments, instead of staring at dashboards for hours.

Content ops co-pilots

Building prompt libraries and lightweight internal tools that help writers stay on-brand and on-voice while moving faster.

Automation flows with n8n and Replit

Connecting CRMs, email platforms, and analytics to reduce manual reporting and busywork so marketers can focus on the work that actually needs a brain.

How I think about AI in marketing

AI doesn't replace fundamentals. If the positioning is wrong, the funnel is broken, or the offer doesn't make sense, more AI just helps you fail faster.

I use AI to extend good strategy, not to patch bad strategy.

Throwback

Been studying marketing since before it was cool

Here's me as a teenager with Dan Kennedy at a GKIC marketing conference. The fundamentals I learned then—clear offers, compelling copy, understanding the customer—still drive everything I do today. AI just makes executing on those fundamentals faster.
